As a clinical hypnotherapist I use many holistic techniques that help my clients. At tslcworlwide.com life coaching is our main way of helping but we will also use hypnotherapy if its use is required and also the Emotional Freedom Technique called “Tapping“.
Tapping is one of the tools in a branch of Energy Medicine called Energy Psychology. Tapping has two advantages – it works and its free.
Since it is free and it works my advice is – tap on everything – this was the advice from Nick Ortner many years ago and still holds true.
What is tapping?
Many people, especially service personnel do not achieve the joyful and satisfying lives they desire. They are stuck accepting a lifestyle of emotional trauma, chronic physical pain, compulsions and addictions. With these problems come pills to kill the pain, sleep, and help with anxiety – but this is most times just as bad as the disease.
Many service personnel from all over the world deserve to grow, flourish, and thrive, leaving their past in the past. They want to be their best, living a life that is filled with love, joy, and fulfilment.
With Tapping, you can discover the secret of emotional freedom and physical relief. You can take your physical and emotional well-being into your own hands. It’s very simple for you to master, and it’s free.
Tapping gives relief from chronic pain, emotional problems, disorders, addictions, fears, post traumatic stress disorder, and physical diseases. Whilst tapping has only been used in its present form only for a few decades, it is roots are in the practices in Eastern medicine used for over 5,000 years. Like acupuncture and acupressure, Tapping is a set of techniques which uses the body’s energy meridian points. You can stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them with your fingertips.
Your body is more powerful than you can imagine… filled with life, energy, and a compelling ability for self-healing. With Tapping, you can take control of that power.
More interesting to service personnel is the work of Dr Dawson Church who created The Stress Project, which teaches tapping to war veterans suffering with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder. The results have been astounding: an average 63% decrease in PTSD symptoms after six rounds of tapping.
Below is a video where Jessica Ortner, co-founder of thetappingsolution.com, shows you how to tap.
If you want to know a little more about tapping then watch this short video of Nick Ortner and his sister, Jessica Ortner discussing tapping. It was recorded during last year’s (2013) Tapping World Summit.
I have been using Tapping for several years now and have experienced how it can help pave the way for a happier life. You should not wait until things are at their darkest to turn to Tapping. Tapping on smaller problems, fears and anxieties will help.
If you remain sceptical my only wish is that when things do get at their darkest you will recall Tapping and tap like there is no tomorrow.
To your success, love and life.
